The Goal
When we started working together, the team at Visiting Angels of Richmond knew that SEO was important, but weren’t fully clued in on how it actually worked. They came to me because they felt as though they weren’t seeing the results that we were looking for. Because Elleos has experience working with franchises, we knew that we had to boost this location to get leads in their service area.
The Strategy
Previously, the Visiting Angels of Richmond team was checking all of the boxes for SEO, but it wasn’t following a specific strategy. Because the specific strategy wasn’t there, the specific results weren’t either! Most of the content was generic and didn’t provide a specific tone and point of view. Moving forward, we wanted to rewrite as many of the pages that we could, implementing proper linking and keyword plans. We also needed to create location pages for areas and neighborhoods in their service area. We also ended up taking over their blogs, so we could write about topics that our potential clients are actually searching for throughout the year. The last part of our plan was a general reorganization of the pages on the website, as there was some duplicated content, some unused pages, and some pages we needed to include but didn’t have yet.
The Results
Elleos is extremely proud of the work that has been done for Visiting Angels of Richmond, VA! When we took over back in February of 2024, we began to see immediate improvement. In the first 6 months, we saw organic traffic visits increase over 240% compared to the year before. The best part is that we’ve seen steady numbers ever since, especially through the ever-changing landscape of search engine marketing! We have also kept a track of how we show up in various AI LLMs, which also continues to increase each month.
